Alex Haddox is the Product Manager for the Symantec AntiVirus Research Center (SARC), one of the industry's premier antivirus laboratories as featured in Fortune magazine. He is a leading member of the global team deciding the future for Symantec's AntiVirus products and team. Mr. Haddox oversees the direction of the Center and is responsible for the monthly Norton AntiVirus updates in which new virus definitions are added to the Norton AntiVirus and Symantec AntiVirus for Macintosh databases of known viruses. His team researches new virus technology worldwide with SARC satellite offices in Tokyo, Sydney and Leiden, The Netherlands.
