JOIN THE CAST & CREW OF "THE VISITOR"
ON THE SET THIS HALLOWEEN VIA
LIVE PALACE CHAT ON THEVISITOR.COM

On Halloween, the cast and crew of the FOX series "The Visitor," starring John Corbett in the title role, invites the virtual world to join them on the set, via a live Palace chat from 7-8 and 9-10 PST (before and after the television broadcast), on the breakthrough Web show, http://www.thevisitor.com. Costumes are optional.

The Halloween chat will correspond with a special Halloween episode of "The Visitor," airing on FOX at 8pm, which is an homage to the infamous Orson Welles radio broadcast "War of the Worlds," a tale of alien invasion and a theme with which Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich (INDEPENDENCE DAY) have some experience. The webshow, which has been increasing its features since its inception in September, will unveil all its new assets and technologies including music utilizing Thomas Dolby's Beatnik plug-in, DHTML and many streaming audio and video formats on Halloween as well. Exclusive Halloween video footage from the set will also appear throughout the night on the fansite. The fansite is accessible from http://www.thevisitor.com.

"The Visitor," produced by the creators of "Independence Day," Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich, follows the mysterious exploits of Adam MacArthur (John Corbett), an Air Force pilot who vanished over the Bermuda Triangle in 1947, only to return 50 years later without having aged at all. Equipped with heightened perceptions and abilities, he is relentlessly pursued by government and military agents. The webshow, thevisitor.com, which is sponsored and created with technology by Intel, features storylines and characters that parallel the series and allows users to join the agencies tracking The Visitor and to explore clues and other information supplied by the television or web episode.

So, before trick or treating or after you've returned with a sack full of candy, please join John Corbett, Dean Devlin and the rest of the cast and crew on the set of "The Visitor" via thevisitor.com. Directions: Go to The Visitor Web Site Palace Chat Page, http://www.thevisitor.com/palace.html. An alternate route: Go to FOX's World Wide Web site, FOXWORLD at www.FOXworld.com. Black cats and ghouls are welcome.

The webshow is produced by Richard D. Titus for Centropolis Interactive. It features Intel Architecture systems including advanced multi-media capabilities, high-speed networking and video conferencing. It displays cutting-edge technical design, streaming videos, utilizing Vosaic and Vivo technologies; audio enhancement and valuable background information. The webshow is designed for anyone with internet access, although fans participating on high-end PCs will enjoy the highest quality experience, with streaming video, streaming audio and smooth, rich graphics.

"The Visitor" is a Centropolis Television production in association with 20th Century Fox Television. Dean Devlin and Roland Emmerich are creators and executive producers. John Masius, creator of "Touched by an Angel," also serves as executive producer. Randy Zisk is co-executive producer. Bill Fay and Ute Emmerich are supervising producers.
