PARTNERSHIP WITH MICROSOFT FOR INTERNET EXPLORER 4.0 BURBANK, CALIF. (July 15, 1997) - Warner Bros. Online will be featured as a top layer Premiere Active Channel partner when the highly anticipated new version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer 4.0 Web browser launches today. Warner Bros. Online's Active Channel is one of a select few featured on the top-layer, desktop-positioned channel bar shipping with IE4, giving users instant access to their favorite Warner Bros. Online sites. Within the Warner Bros. Online channel, users can customize their experience by joining any of three different areas that will automatically update when they log on. PLAYDOM, an area for kids, features play-along games, music, animation, video and audio samples under its "Hip Clip" section, along with "Fun Stuff," "Comics" and "Shows." SCREENDOM provides information and links to the exciting world of Warner Bros. motion picture and television blockbusters, with individual areas for "Online," "Home Video," "Television" and "Film." TUNEDOM provides the latest music news, reviews and samples in the areas of "R&B Hip Hop," "Pop Rock," "New Releases" and "Modern Rock" from the many recording labels in the Warner Music Group, the largest and most diverse music company in the world.
