E-TICKET APPOINTS SHANNON DONNELLY
TO OPEN L.A. OFFICE

PASADENA, CALIF. (February 12, 1998) -- E-Ticket, Inc., the new media publisher which recently relaunched National Enquirer Online and America's Most Wanted Online, has hired producer Shannon Donnelly for its newly created position of Vice President of Product Development, effective immediately. Donnelly will oversee the production of new and current E-Ticket sites, as well as supervising the look and feel, artwork, direction, technology and management of their content. She brings to E-Ticket over fourteen years in the entertainment and high technology industries, with hands-on experience in production and interactive design.

Donnelly will report directly to Rick Gibson, the president of the groundbreaking idealab! company dedicated to bringing megabrand content online. "We are thrilled to be able to hire someone with Shannon's talent, confidence and expertise," said Gibson. "With our current and new products that we are publishing, Shannon has the breadth of development, design and product management that we need." Although the company operates out of a "virtual office" with separate locations in Tucson, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Florida Donnelly will be manning E-Ticket's new corporate nexus at the idealab! headquarters in Pasadena.

Donnelly most recently worked with Sony's online division, Columbia TriStar Interactive, to create and supervise the launch and production of The Sony Station's "Soap City" Web site, one of the largest soap sites on the Internet. As the premier site for television's two top-rated daytime soaps, Days of Our Lives and The Young and The Restless, "Soap City" launched weekly chats with soap stars, online forums, shops, with a blend of detailed show information with up-to-date news.

Previous to "Soap City", Donnelly worked as a producer and designer in the game and educational interactive market. Her credits include work on the CD-ROMS for Pony Express for McGraw Hill Home Interactive, Nomad published by GameTek, and Girl's Club for Philips Media (which won the Youth in Film Awards for Outstanding Youth Mini-Video Series). In addition to her interactive work, Donnelly is a published author of non-fiction and fiction work, and teaches "Computer Game Design" at UCLA Extension with her husband and industry veteran, Sam Palahnuk.

"I'm looking forward to helping E-Ticket increase the technology appeal of its sites without losing our current mass market accessibility," said Donnelly upon the announcement. "One of my biggest goals will be to involve fans of National Enquirer Online and America's Most Wanted Online much more with the future direction of the sites." Donnelly will also be involved in new acquisitions as E-Ticket looks for other properties with committed audiences of millions of consumers that require custom-designed electronic communities with services and products to satisfy their needs, expectations and desires. Other megabrand properties are expected to be announced by E-Ticket as online ventures in the second quarter of 1998.

E-Ticket President Rick Gibson is one of the founders of Knowledge Adventure, Inc. one of the world's leading educational software companies.

E-Ticket's chairman is Bill Gross, former chairman of Knowledge Adventure, and current CEO of idealab!, a "creative capital" company that has helped start more than 25 other new Internet companies such as CitySearch, PeopleLink, Go2.com, tickets.com, shopping.com, and eToys. In addition to idealab!, E-Ticket's investors include Brøderbund, Digital Media Group, Labrador Ventures and Logitech founder Pierluigi Zappacosta.
