JAMES GOLDEN JOINS TALKSPOT.COM

SEATTLE, WASH. (AUGUST 19, 1998) -- TalkSpot announced today that James Golden, formerly known as "Bo Snerdly" on the Rush Limbaugh Show, has been appointed vice president of programming. TalkSpot, http://www.talkspot.com, is the premiere online broadcaster delivering a new medium of news and entertainment, combining Internet interactivity with the topic based content of radio.

Golden will be responsible for the pioneering of TalkSpot's Web-based interactive programming, the nationwide recruitment of top talent, and content coordination for TalkSpot's three studios. Golden will also host "The James Golden Show" daily on TalkSpot.

Golden's 30 year radio voyage began at age 14. He has worked with notable and opinionated celebrities like Rush Limbaugh, Johnny Donovan, and Dan Ingram. Golden was the host of WABC-AM's "The James and Joel Show," and "The James Golden Show" from 1992 through 1998. Golden's show will offer a unique blend of conservative talk exploring cultural and social issues from thought provoking perspectives.

TalkSpot, officially launching in October, will deliver three channels of high impact programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week on the Internet. TalkSpot's highly interactive design delivers streaming audio and video with an interactive component, allowing listeners to direct contact with hosts and other audience members in real-time. TalkSpot is the first service to be announced by WorldStream Communications. WorldStream Communications was founded in November, 1997 by Ken Williams, and Jerry Bowerman. Mr. Williams is the former CEO and co-founder of Sierra On-Line Inc., a leading global publisher of consumer software. Mr. Bowerman was executive vice president of product development and marketing at Sierra. CUC International acquired Sierra, after eight years as a public company, in July 1996.
