CALTECH/MIT ENTERPRISE FORUM “Internet Retailing: Still Time To Start Your Venture?” Examines Entrepreneurial Challenges of Two Local E-Commerce Start-up Companies SANTA MONICA, CALIF. (March 17, 1999) - iAgency president Tony Winders is among a panel of Internet retailing experts participating in a Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum program for Internet entrepreneurs Saturday, March 20, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Panelists will evaluate the promise and hazards of Internet retailing while reviewing the plans and experience of two startup entrepreneurs, Sheri Adams, founder, ChocolatEpicure; and Demos Vardiabasis, chairman and president, Healthwindows. Robert J. McNulty, founder of Shopping.com will present the keynote address. Panelists who will provide feedback on the keynote address and the case studies include Jeannie Novak, president and CEO, Kaleidospace, LLC; Jack Staff, director and chief economist, Zona Research, Inc.; J. Neil Weintraut, general partner, 21st Century Internet Venture Partners; and Tony Winders, president, InterActive Agency, Inc. (iAgency). The program will be moderated by Jim Brown, principal, J. L. Brown & Co. and features an intermission for networking, refreshments and conversation with the panelists. The program is produced by Jim Brown and Joe Andrieu, co-founder of the Association of Internet Professionals. The Caltech/MIT Enterprise Forum is training and business development program for Southern California high-tech entrepreneurs. The Forum produces nine programs per year and an annual workshop for entrepreneurs. It also operates a series of roundtables for emerging entrepreneurs.
