CAPTURES No. 1 SPOT FOR CABLE TV NETWORKS ON COLLEGE CAMPUSES VENICE, Calif., Aug. 9 -- College Broadcast, (collegebroadcast.com) the leading provider of broadband entertainment for college students, has been ranked the number one campus based television network according to a recent study conducted by Student Monitor, (studentmonitor.com). Student Monitor's Spring 1999 Lifestyle & Media study found that College Broadcast is the most watched college campus television network nationally. College Broadcast's viewership was ranked 40% higher than the second ranked network. Within the category of students defined as heavy Web users (10 or more hours per week), College Broadcast's viewership was 102% higher than the second ranked network. Our survey found that they ranked first in 21 viewership indices that we currently track for college cable television networks."
