DDB Digital and US Interactive
Pitch Campaigns for Rocket eBook(tm)

Dana Point, Calif. (June 3, 1999)- Digitrends, LLC, (http://www.digitrends.net) a publisher and conference producer serving interactive marketers, today announced the participants in its 1999 Interactive Marketing Campaign Competition at Camp Interactive, July 26-29, in Lake Tahoe, Calif.

This year's competition will include two respected interactive agencies, DDB Digital and US Interactive, vying to win the $2 million account of a single client/judge, NuvoMedia, makers of the Rocket eBook(tm), a paperback-ized electronic book that allows consumers to read published content downloaded from the Internet.

"This year's competition is unique in that we have selected a real company and product for our agencies to pitch," said Rick Parkhill, Digitrends' director of conferences and publications. "This will add a higher level of authenticity to the pitch sessions, providing Camp attendees with a fly-on-the-wall perspective of a top-notch interactive marketing pitch."

Now in its second year, the Interactive Marketing Campaign Competition is an annual event integrated into Digitrends' Camp Interactive conference. After the competition, Camp Interactive attendees will join executives from NuvoMedia in a post-pitch round of agency questioning, and a vote to determine the winner of this year's event. NuvoMedia will also conduct a drawing to determine the winners of several Rocket eBooks the company will be giving away to Camp attendees.
