CheckOut.Com Leverages Entertainment Boulevard's
More Than 2,000 Streaming Music Videos and
Becomes Exclusive Commerce Provider to
Entertainment Boulevard

LOS ANGELES - July 26, 1999 - CheckOut.com, the highly anticipated entertainment and e-commerce destination, today announced an extensive business deal with Entertainment Boulevard, Inc. (entertainmentblvd.com), one of the leading providers of streaming entertainment-related media on the Internet.

Under the agreement, CheckOut.com will become the exclusive commerce provider for music, videos and games for the Entertainment Boulevard network of sites. In addition, Entertainment Boulevard will become CheckOut.com's exclusive provider for more than 2,000 music videos and one of the largest libraries of movie trailers on the Web, all available at speeds of up to 300K.

This partnership is a powerful step towards broadband and e-commerce convergence. While users are watching music videos from top artists such as The Backstreet Boys and TLC on Entertainment Boulevard's extremely popular Pop-Up Player, they can also access product and content information on CheckOut.com's more 350,000 artist pages. For example, while checking out the "Baby, One More Time" music video from Britney Spears, users can go directly to the Britney Spears artist page at CheckOut.com and find a complete listing of the artist's current CDs, biography, news features, product reviews, chat, links to other sites pertaining to the artist on the Web, among other features.
