OF UNITYMAILTM 3.0 EMAIL MARKETING SOFTWARE Statement Email, Dynamic Content Management, UnityPostTM Email Delivery Engine New York, NY-(June 23, 1999)--Revnet Systems http://www.revnet.com today announced that UnityMail Version 3.0, a major upgrade to the industry's first database-enabled email marketing software for Windows NT, is shipping at the end of June. The new version is the first email list server to deliver statement email and to offer dynamic content management. UnityMail 3.0 will ship with UnityPost, a high-speed SMTP email delivery engine designed for UnityMail 3.0. The product has been installed in production environments at several installations around the country. The announcement is being made at the ShowStoppers press briefing at PC Expo '99 in New York. Dynamic Content Management and Statement Email With UnityMail 3.0, marketers can create email messages that are dynamically created from a content database and then targeted to a specific market segment. UnityMail 3.0 will automatically retrieve the most up-to-date information from a database - prices, sale items, stock market quotes, airline ticket information, product information, advertising, or other information - and deliver a customized message to specific customers based on demographics, personal profiles, buying behavior or clicks on trackable web links. Transactional information, such as account balances, records of expenditures or purchases, can also be formatted and delivered with UnityMail, resulting in the Internet's first application of statement email. "Customers will be able to receive regular email notification of their account activity," says Stuart Obermann, Revnet CEO. "Using UnityMail, retailers, financial institutions and other e-commerce vendors will be able to easily provide billing and other statements to their customers. The data can be accessed directly from the corporate database automatically and delivered monthly, weekly, daily or at any other time." UnityPost for volume email delivery because of the requirements of many of its customers for high-volume delivery of personalized email, Revnet created UnityPost for UnityMail 3.0. UnityPost is a new high-speed SMTP email delivery engine that takes advantage of UnityMail's capacity for producing very high volumes of personalized email. UnityPost has been deployed in several high-volume installations in the U.S, including Revnet Express, Revnet's email outsourcing service which delivers millions of messages per week.
